Here are some steampunk inspired artworks. The violin is a real violin that was found in a charity shop with just one string. It has been covered in cracklepaste and embellishments. Once dried it was sprayed with copper paint and a patina effect applied using sponges and turquoise and white paint. It is mounted on A2 canvas board with musical scores and the bow.
The seahorses were influenced by the cognitive tests that I went through before and after brain surgery. The timepieces resemble memories that the hippocampus is responsible for.
