I enjoy painting close up shots of flowers and looking for the patterns found on the plants. Lots of these paintings are representative of significant events or milestones. The poppies were painted to mark the 100th anniversary of Remembrance Day. The marigold (Alive) was painted when I reached six months seizure freedom and the rose was painted from a bunch of roses given to me when I finished my medication withdrawal. The daffodil (Through the Storm) and the bluebells are just some of the sights of the daily dog walks.
Lots of these are available to buy as original artwork, prints and greetings cards.
